We had a really fun summer, including several fun local trips, a wedding, a vacation in Hawaii, and so much more. This picture was a trip to Alki Beach in Seattle.

Jack has two best friends, one is Kate McClellan who is with her Mom and Dad in Law School. The other is Lucy, our 3 year old lab. When Jack wakes up in the morning, his first order of business is checking on Lucy and chasing her around the house. They share meals together, as well as wrestling and cuddle time.

Lucy's always really patient with him. She is looking forward to him growing up...

Hawaii Baby!

September marked our first ever trip to Hawaii! Jackson was unfortunately not invited on this trip, but he had his own little vacation in Coeur d'Alene to visit his aunt, uncle and cousins. We went to the Big Island and stayed in the Wiakaola Village, just outside of Kona. We snorkled every day, soaked up the beach, laid by the pool, and Emileigh went from extremely white to just barely not blinding white. We even swam with turtles!

We shared a lovely and huge villa with my parents. Our view was a well manicured golf course. The sunset picture is from the beach at our resort. Not too shabby!
